About Dale R. Rose
Dale R. Rose is an experienced civil trial attorney with over 155 first chair (lead attorney) jury trials to date. Dale’s practice of law has taken him to courtrooms in over 54 counties in Texas and several states. During his nearly 25 years of being a licensed attorney in Texas, Dale has represented people who were hurt, small businesses, mega-corporations, insurance companies, criminal defendants and even State of Texas as a prosecutor. This gives Dale a broad understanding of your case and how to best represent you.
His unique blend of areas of law and having been in the courtroom representing clients on both the plaintiff and defense side of cases gives Dale a special insight in the handling of your case. Dale’s legal career started as a police officer in Garland, Texas. After six years as a police officer, Dale’s first job as an attorney was as a prosecutor in the Dallas County District Attorney’s office where he was quickly promoted to the Specialized Crimes Division and working with federal and state agencies.
Since that time, Dale has worked to represent people and businesses who have been injured as the result of others negligence. What makes Dale Rose different from other Collin County personal injury law firms?

You typically get assigned a “case manager” or “legal assistant” who tries to move your case through the system and towards settlement. At my firm, you deal with me on a regular basis, get to participate in the process, and are involved in all of the decisions on your case. To me your case is important, and I treat it that way.
How does Dale Rose structure fees for personal injury cases?
- Our fees are based on your recovery and settlement. At the time of your settlement, we will accept 33 ⅓% of your settlement as our fee. If we are in litigation, we will accept 40% of your settlement or judgment as our fees. Most law firms in Texas have either this amount or higher for their attorney fee structure.
Are there any upfront costs I need to pay when hiring Dale Rose for my personal injury case?
- No. We will pay for any costs during your case both in pre-litigation or during the litigation phase. We will ask for you to reimburse us for those costs at the conclusion of your case. However, because of our firm size, our costs are typically very small in comparison to the larger firms who add fees to your case.
What kind of results has Dale Rose achieved?
- Because of my length of time as a personal injury lawyer, I have recovered settlements for my clients as small as $2,000.00 and as large as $4 million dollars. But because we are a small law firm, we work very hard to get every dollar that we believe our clients are owed. In the large firms, they don’t have to do that for their clients because they make it up in their volume of cases.
What is the typical timeline for a personal injury case handled by Dale Rose?
- Understand that any settlement that you accept is final, meaning that once you settle there is no opportunity to get any other dollars from the other driver/ at fault party or their insurance company. Because of that, we are very careful about making sure that your settlement is not rushed to be completed just to collect the attorney fees like some of the big firms do. It is typical for you to know if your case can be settled or if a lawsuit is necessary about 2 months after you have completed all of your medical care for your injuries.
